Bike Rodeo is March 22nd and you don't want to miss it! Bike Rodeo is a fun and educational activity for the children at Cambridge. A bicycle clinic is held to teach children the importance of bicycle safety and what skills and precautions they need to develop to have a safe time on their bicycles.

Students will navigate an obstacle course with members of their class. Participants will compete in four elements:  steering, figure-eight or circle; maneuvering, and balance. They will score points by staying within the lines and not allowing their feet to touch the ground.  The bike rodeo is a standardized skill competition with a predetermined course.  Training wheels are permitted.

The bike rodeo is judged by parent volunteers and all riders will receive participation ribbons. In addition, trophies will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers for both girls and boys at each grade level.  A trophy will be awarded for the best overall performance by a girl, a boy, and a teacher!

Bike Rodeo will be on Friday, March 22nd.
The grade levels are scheduled for the following times.
1st Grade -  8:45 - 9:30
2nd Grade - 10:10 - 10:40
3rd Grade - 10:45 - 11:15
4th Grade -  9:35 - 10:05
