The membership component is more important than ever as it will be one of biggest sources of income for the PTO and allows us the funds needed to begin our school year. We do appreciate every single donation. If you are able, please JOIN USto do this important work today.

Please join our social media efforts during the first week of school to spread the love! We’ve included the above PDF print out. Simply print the PDF and fill in the blank space with a word or a picture of why your students or family love their Cambridge teachers or list the Cambridge teachers you’d like to recognize. Take a picture of your student or family with your sign and share on your social media channels, using the hashtag #WeLoveCambridgeTeachers and tagging @cambridgepto.

Write a letter of encouragement or thanks to our Cambridge staff. Go to the PTO website and fill out the Thank you note form to send a note to  teacher or staff member.  Handwritten letters can be dropped at 310 Castano Avenue in Alamo Heights, 123 East Oakview Place in Alamo Heights, or 310 East Mandalay Drive in Olmos Park, and left in the baskets on the front porch of each home. Emails can be sent to We’ll print these off for our teachers to read. The deadline for all letters is Friday, August 14.

Now that you received that much anticipated phone call from your student's teacher, please log back in to the PTO website and update your child's teacher information. This is very important!

It's simple! Click on My Account and scroll down to click on My Forms/Paperwork. Now click on Family Information.  Scroll down and click Next Step.  This next page is your student(s) information.  You will be able to update the teacher information here.

We apologize for the delay on getting these yearbooks into your hands, but our publisher was closed for Covid-19 which caused a delay in printing. We should have an update from the publisher in the next few days, and will send out an email with details as soon as we can. We appreciate your patience.

Throughout the school year, the PTO's success is dependent on our team of parent and community volunteers. Whether you are chairing a Cambridge fundraiser (come on, you know you want to!) or volunteering for an hour at Book Fair or Bike Rodeo, our volunteers are vital to our organization. Please take a look at our full list of volunteer opportunities offered and we'd love to get you involved in a role that best suits your availability and interests. If the thought of the PTO leaves you with sweaty palms and breaking out in hives, shoot us an email at and we'll find a job that is perfect for you! Or check out the positions below that need YOU! If you see one that strikes your fancy, be sure to mark your interest on our volunteer page on the PTO website

Snack Pak 4 Kids SA and the Cambridge PTO will continue to serve our children with food insecurities during the 2020-2021 school year!  Through this amazing organization, we are able to provide those in need with food for the weekends when access to school breakfast and lunch is not available.  Although the way we can volunteer might look a little different this year, the need to serve our community, especially our children, is as important as ever.  Volunteers will prepare classroom bags on Thursday afternoons in preparation for teachers to pick up and distribute on Friday mornings.   We encourage you to volunteer as this minimal time commitment truly makes a huge impact on kids’ lives! You can sign up on the volunteer page of the Cambridge PTO website
